Martim is the solo project of Nijmegen-based multi-instrumentalist Martijn Luijk. Martim weaves poetic lyrics, virtuoso guitar playing and a warm, dark voice with a range of over four octaves into intimate, atmospheric folk. His music moves between moments of lightness and melancholy: songs that float between emotions, but always lean toward warmth.
With new releases forthcoming and a growing live presence, his short track record includes performances at Tivoli Vredenburg and Doornroosje, Martim is carving his own path in the world of singer-songwriter and folk music.
