Süd-Ost is an energetic live band of four friends from the Netherlands, inspired by the rich musical culture of Austria. With a unique blend of South Limburgian, German and East Tyrolean influences, they perform everything from fast polkas to waltzes. A festive act full of atmosphere, schwung and recognition for every audience.

We are a festive live band consisting of four musicians from the Netherlands, with a shared passion for Alpine music and Austrian culture. The name Süd-Ost symbolizes the unique combination of South Limburg and East Tyrol: two regions where tradition, conviviality, and music take center stage. You can hear and see that connection in our repertoire and stage presence, which blend authentic Alpine sounds with a modern, energetic live performance.

Our music consists of a varied mix of Austrian and German folk music, Tyrolean music, and schlager, complemented by a touch of Limburg. From lively polkas and swinging waltzes to classic sing-alongs and festive music: we know how to connect with any audience and get them moving. Thanks to our infectious enthusiasm and recognizable sound, we’re a perfect fit for events such as Oktoberfest celebrations, après-ski parties, beer festivals, village festivals, festivals, and theme nights.
