Süd-Ost is an energetic live band of four friends from the Netherlands, inspired by the rich musical culture of Austria. With a unique blend of South Limburgian, German and East Tyrolean influences, they perform everything from fast polkas to waltzes. A festive act full of atmosphere, schwung and recognition for every audience.

We are a festive live band consisting of four musicians from the Netherlands, with a shared passion for Alpine music and Austrian culture. The name Süd-Ost symbolizes the unique combination of South Limburg and East Tyrol: two regions where tradition, conviviality and music are central. This connection can be heard and seen in the repertoire and appearance, in which authentic Alpine sounds are brought together with a modern, energetic live performance.

Our music consists of a varied mix of Austrian and German folk music, Tyrolean music and schlager, supplemented with a touch of Limburgian. From smooth polkas and schwungige walzers to classical sing-alongs and atmospheric party music: we know how to touch and move any audience. Thanks to our infectious enthusiasm and recognizable sound, we are very suitable for Oktoberfest, après-ski parties, beer parties, village parties, festivals and theme nights.

With an eye for authenticity, with traditional instruments and costumes, we bring the real Alpine experience to the stage. Our performances guarantee atmosphere, conviviality and interaction with the audience.
