I am Julia Rosenhart, a singer and pianist from Amsterdam, specializing in intimate and respectful musical farewells. With voice and piano, I provide warm, quiet and personal music during funerals, farewell services, memorial services and cremation or cemetery ceremonies.

My music is warm and comforting, supporting the memorial in a way that does justice to who your loved one was, with room for beautiful and loving moments of remembrance.

During what moments?

I provide music at all times, such as:
Entry
Lighting of candles
Personal stories / speeches
Moment of reflection
Last greeting
Unveiling the coffin
Condolence / meeting

I also often play subtle background music at smaller ceremonies or intimate family gatherings.

What do I play?
You can see my repertoire at the bottom of my profile, but it is mainly:
Comforting ballads
Subdued acoustic piano versions
Nostalgic and quiet pop songs
Own quiet compositions
Request songs are always possible.
I will help choose appropriate music if desired.

Where do I perform?
Throughout the Netherlands and - in consultation - in parts of Belgium.
I play in crematoria, churches, nature spots, farewell rooms, living rooms and any location a loved one deems appropriate.

What technique is required?
I bring my own stage piano, microphone and small sound set.
Often I also connect to the crematorium or location's existing system. I can do this in consultation with the funeral home.
In addition, there is often a grand piano present at a cemetery or crematorium. If necessary, I can make use of this.
