With a voice barely inferior to her examples, Djoeke sings classics from Edith Piaf to Nina Simone and knows how to touch people time and time again. Supported only by piano, she is able to put on a show both intimate and uplifting. Winner of the Concours de la Chanson '24 (Prix Edith Piaf and Audience Award).

Djoeke is a modern singer with a certain old-time flair. She grew up in her parents' antique store in Friesland. Her father sang opera and taught her the tricks of the trade, later she studied pop singing at the Rotterdam conservatory.

With her characteristic voice and disarming performance, Djoeke knows how to leave an unforgettable impression. Her love for jazz and chansons but also contemporary pop music offer her a versatile repertoire, to which she always manages to give her own twist.
