Sara Bax's latest album, "She's the Poem," consists of ten portraits in music, from someone you might encounter on the street to an icon like Frida Kahlo.

Sara Bax (b. 1997) is a composer and vocalist, but above all she feels she is an artist in music. Her music is an ode to authenticity: the beautiful and the ugly, raw and unpolished. She wants to take you to the center of being, make you feel the sparkles of magic that flow there. When you hold your head under the water, your thoughts still. Just like when you listen to her band. Bax uses the power of each band member in such a way that together the group sounds like one strong organ painting the sky with a rich palette of colors.

Her band consists of Boy Edgar Prize winner Jeroen van Vliet (piano), Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw member Angelo Verploegen (flügelhorn), young talents Joshua Herwig (cello) and Maximilian Hering (drums). --Good subs available in case a band member is already engaged
