Trip The Light's trio is the original formation through which the band brings its recognizable sound to life. With drums, piano and vocals, Dirk, Joris and Maud create a unique blend of soul, funk, pop and disco that makes any party sparkle.

From relaxed drinks with smooth grooves to a dance floor full of energy - the trio senses exactly what the moment demands. Their repertoire moves smoothly from jazzy easy listening to danceable hits from the 60s to now.

Trip The Light provides the perfect musical framework for any event - from atmospheric background music during a drink or dinner to a swinging dance floor full of energy. The three permanent band members together form a strong unit: Dirk with his grooving drums, Joris on the funky piano and Maud with her warm, soulful voice. Their playing together creates a magical, infectious atmosphere every time.

Trip The Light's repertoire is broad and versatile: from pop and jazz to soul, funk and disco - from the classics of the '60s to the latest hits. They unerringly sense what the moment demands, whether that's relaxed background music or a party where everyone gets on the dance floor.

Bookings & possibilities
As a compact 3-piece band, Trip The Light fits effortlessly into almost any venue. A standard performance consists of three 45-minute sets, but the duration is flexible and always adaptable to your event. The band provides its own sound set up to 100 people, expandable with additional light show or larger installation if necessary.

Want even more musical power? The line-up can be expanded with additional musicians such as a saxophonist, trumpet player, bassist, guitarist or second singer(s). This way every show is tailor-made.
