Highland Cathedral, Scotland the Brave, Mull of Kintyre, Amazing Grace.... The Saint Andrews Pipeband from Rotterdam has been performing well known and lesser known songs for years.
Whether it is a wedding, a festival, a show, private party, corporate event or a funeral, Whether it is a rock band, a solo artist, a choir, or an orchestra, and whether at home or abroad, the sound of the bagpipes always brings an extra dimension.
The band has experience with the small intimate performances, both joyful and sad, and experience with large performances such as
with Frans Bauer in Ahoy and with Andre Rieu at the Vrijthof.
Of course, the band plays in traditional Scottish clothing: the kilt. If you wish, and the weather permits, we play the impressive military fulldress attire.
The Saint Andrews Pipeband and currently consists of 35 men, but can play in different compositions so that something is available for every budget.
The price for a performance depends on travel distance, the length of time the performance lasts and the number of musicians.
For a solo piper you pay 175 euros, for a mini band 425 euros. For a full band of 14 people we charge 1100 euros.
Please note that these prices do not include VAT and travel expenses and do not include Showbird commissions.
