The pop/Americana duo MISTER & MRS consists of Freerk & Tryntsje Hospes and hails from Friesland.
During their five-month tour of Europe, where they made a living from their music,
their love for music truly blossomed into something great.

Inspired by the American duo “Johnnyswim” and the Canadian trio “Wild Rivers,” they have been
writing their own music since 2023. In late January ’24, they released their debut single “Million Reasons,” which, among other things,
won the “Debut in a Minute” contest on 3FM, was named MAXI single on NPO Radio 5, and was
featured on various (radio) playlists.

Their second single, “Find My Way,” was also very well received, received heavy rotation on national radio, and
is their most popular track on Spotify! Their third single, ‘Wild Roses’, has since been released (June 28, ’24)
and—just like their other two singles—it immediately made it onto the NPO Radio 5 playlist. With the
release of ‘Stop Walking In The Rain’, the duo has now released a single in every season.
As a preview of their EP, the duo revealed a completely
different side of themselves on January 10, ’25, with “Soms Wil Ik Liever Lopen.” A song about searching, doubting, and sometimes just wanting to escape
reality. Just wanting the space to search and (once again) find exactly what you need.

The songs reflect their shared life, with personal lyrics and catchy
melodies. Real stories that resonate and strike the right chord with their
audience. They write their own lyrics and music and release their music independently. However,
the duo now collaborates on various fronts with big names in the music industry.
