Emmy is a talented singer from Maastricht. Her breakthrough came in 2023 when she won the first edition of the Regio Songfestival with the moving song 't Letste Rundje. This song, which reflects her Limburg roots, captured the hearts of both the audience and the jury. The victory immediately brought Emmy into the spotlight. Thus, she performed live on Rob & Wijnand's morning show on 3FM and even in the sold-out 013 pop stage in Tilburg.
Since then, a lot has happened and her musical career has taken off with many performances. On June 28, 2024, Emmy released her second single: Almost 100,000. A summer uptempo song that is optimistic about the future. It's about moving forward, not slowing yourself down and not letting others hold you back. "The lyrics are personal, but everyone will recognize the feeling. Every person has setbacks to overcome. We all sometimes think we can't do something, while we can get a long way if we just do it."
Meanwhile, Emmy has released her third single, Die Ene Dag. With this, Emmy shows that she is now fully focused on her own music - Dutch-language pop with influences from soul and R&B, brought with a warm, authentic voice.
In addition to her own music, she has an extensive cover repertoire of internationally known songs.
