Shinkickers is the tribute band that pays tribute to legendary Irish blues-rock guitarist Rory Gallagher by recreating his music in a great energetic live performance.

Shinkickers grew out of the passion of musicians with a great love for the music and lyrics of Irish blues-rock guitarist Rory Gallagher, and whose work deeply inspired them. The idea to form a tribute band came about after some of the group traveled to the annual Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon Ireland, where they were even more confronted with Gallagher's immense influence and the legacy he left behind.

The enthusiasm generated during this trip was so great that the musicians decided to join forces and form Shinkickers. With their years of experience in the music business and their shared passion for Gallagher's oeuvre, they wanted to honor his music and keep his spirit alive by allowing audiences to relive his iconic songs. Thus was born Shinkickers, a band that honors the soul of Rory Gallagher's music while providing an energetic live experience that preserves his legacy.
