Thornballin', the alias of Dutch writer, producer and DJ Gijs Doornenbal, is known for his energetic & commercial Afro- and Tech House sets with fast mixes and creative acapellas.

Thornballin', the stage name of writer, producer and DJ Gijs Doornenbal, was already known for his mixtapes and shows. Now in 2025, he releases a great sunset and radio banger: 'Hypnotized' on Ibiza Soundwave.

During his sets, Thornballin' manages to lift the audience to a higher energy level through the uplifting vibe and high tempo in which he mixes Afro and Tech House. With his skills in editing beats and acapellas, he creates unique moments every time.

Last summer Thornballin' had a fantastic time at various venues in Europe: Destino Pacha Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Spook Valencia, Intents Festival, Wish Outdoor and the Amsterdam Dance Event, just to name a few. He managed to surprise every booker in the scene with his talent and personality.

With bigger and bigger shows, both at home and abroad, he is determined to make great strides in his career. With his energetic charisma behind the turntables and his experience, Thornballin' knows how to entertain audiences like no other.
