I turn people into poetry on a vintage typewriter. During parties, events, dinners or weddings, I make a personal poem on the spot for whoever sits at my table.
Let your guest experience a special moment with poet Janneke de Kler. Using her classic typewriter, she writes a personal poem especially for you on the spot. All you have to do is answer two to three short questions - about yourself, your day or what's on your mind - and Janneke transforms your words into poetry.
Her poems are intimate, spontaneous and unique. While you wait, you hear the ticking of the typewriter - a tangible memory is created literally before your eyes. The result: a hand-typed poem that you can take home, as a memento of a special day.

Guests can have a poem created individually, as a couple, as a family or
group of friends.
It is possible to personalize the poem cards with your logo on the back. Highly recommended as almost all poem cards are framed!

The first time I saw Janneke was at an entrepreneurial festival. I took a seat at her table to have a poem created. Janneke asked a few questions and began typing. When the poem was finished and she read it aloud, it touched me so much that I started to cry. I thought it was so special that she had put this on paper for me. When I decided to take the initiative for a Mourning & Celebrating greenhouse in Wageningen in 2024, I didn't have to think long about who I would like to invite to it. Janneke attended the Rouwen & Vieren kas for two days in December 2024 and moved and delighted many people with her beautiful poems. This year she is coming again. I am already looking forward to it. Janneke has the special gift of using poetry to capture and express essence in a way that deeply touches the heart and soul.
