Roi Soleil, French for Sun King, brings "Frenglish pop with a dash of queer glitter. With a flamboyant appearance and strong live energy, he takes the audience into a world full of color, self-expression and pop. An act that dares, touches and makes you dance.

Roi Soleil is a live music act with the Sun King himself as its shining center. His songs are about self-love, sexuality and identity and move effortlessly between danceable electro-pop and big-budget pop anthems. Musically, he draws inspiration from artists such as Oscar and the Wolf, Mika, Yelle, Stromae and Troye Sivan, resulting in a modern and international sound with a distinct signature of his own.

Roi Soleil can be booked with full band, in duo form or for specific events also solo. He has previously performed in pop venues such as Patronaat, Bibelot, V11 and Cinetol, at theater and music festivals such as Parade, Oerol and O., and at Pride and queer events including Amsterdam Pride on Dam Square and the Canal Parade.

In addition, Roi Soleil has been a musical guest on various television programs such as the NOS Avondetappe, RTL Koffietijd and the Cultuurbooster. A powerful live act that suits venues where music, identity and expression come together.
