Introduction Every year Nootdorp hosts the Nootdorp Beach Volleyball. This sporty and fun event takes place on Saturday afternoon and attracts many teams and supporters every year. The afternoon is full of energy, fun and togetherness. An important link in the success of this event is Sascha, who as announcer and host plays a decisive role in the atmosphere and course of the day. Preparation and start Teams report to the race table at noon. From that moment on, Sascha is immediately "on." He always prepares thoroughly: he knows who is participating, which sponsors are involved, what the game schedule looks like and what is expected of him. In doing so, he goes beyond the basics. He always adds valuable elements that make the tournament extra attractive. For example, he has the rules of the game explained by a team that demonstrates this on the spot. Here he deliberately chooses a popular team, so that the attention of all participants and supporters is immediately held. This way of starting ensures enthusiasm and a clear kick-off of the afternoon. The course of the tournament The tournament lasts an average of five hours, and Sascha talks this time together effortlessly. He announces games, provides information about the teams and keeps supporters actively involved. He also makes sure that sponsors get the attention they deserve. A key point is that Sacha always keeps tight control of time. He makes sure that teams get ready on time and that games start without delay. For the annual Sinterklaas parade in Nootdorp we were looking for someone who could both talk the program together on stage, fill up some time here and there and have a chat with the mayor, children's mayor and of course Sinterklaas. Prior to the entry Sacha visited us to talk things through with Sinterklaas, who was doing this for the first time, so everyone felt at their best on stage. We all experienced this as a very nice cooperation. After the entry we received only enormously positive reactions. The interactions with the children were fantastic and the conversations on stage exactly suited the audience. We hope to book Sascha for next year!
