DJ Miss Twist – the original female vintage vinyl DJ
Miss Twist is more than just a vinyl DJ: she brings atmosphere, energy, and an unforgettable experience. With decades of experience, she has performed at iconic venues and festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Lowlands, Paradiso, AFAS Live, and Ahoy. She has also performed at special events for organizations including De Nederlandsche Bank, the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, and Paleis Het Loo, as well as at shows featuring Danny Vera.

Vinyl with a Twist
At age 14, Miss Twist began collecting and spinning 45-rpm vinyl singles. What started as a passion grew into a full-time career. Today, she is an experienced vintage vinyl DJ with decades of experience and an impeccable sense of music, atmosphere, and audience.

From atmospheric background music to a packed dance floor: Miss Twist plays both familiar and surprising hits that suit the moment, the audience, and the occasion. No standard playlist or pre-packaged record case—just a custom experience and a carefully curated musical journey.

More Than Just Music
Miss Twist doesn’t just provide music—she creates atmosphere, energy, and memories. She reads her audience, transitions effortlessly, and knows exactly when to let the music take center stage and when to give conversations some breathing room.

She also makes a difference with the volume: atmospheric, danceable, and always just loud enough. Because good music doesn’t have to be loud to make an impact.

Thanks to her years of experience in communications, healthcare, and the hospitality industry, she also has a strong ability to empathize and is happy to collaborate during the preliminary discussion on the musical program and overall atmosphere of the event.

Musical Style
The finest sounds from the ’50s through the ’90s, with room for a more modern detour when appropriate. From soul, pop, and rock ’n’ roll to disco and other atmospheric classics. No contemporary Dutch-language music, house, techno, hardcore, or related styles.

As one of the first female vinyl DJs, she has inspired many over the years with her passion for vinyl.

Additional hours: €100 per hour
Equipment: not included
DJ set + sound system for up to 200 people: €399 surcharge
Includes: music selection, preliminary consultation, preparation, and travel time of up to 1.5 hours within the Netherlands
Travel expenses: not included

For locations further away, a suitable proposal can of course be made.
