I am a young singer. My reportage consists of my own songs supplemented with modern recognizable Dutch songs. My cover reportage includes:
Tamara Tol, Monique Smit, Sieneke, Marlous, Senna, Dora Pater, Judith Peters, But also covers of Henk Dissel, John de Bever, Stef Ekkel, John West, Jeroen van Zelst, Tino Maertin, Yves Berendse and Andre Hazes.
So a versatile singers who is actually at home in all markets.

Biography

Daniëlle Wijkstra was born on August 12, 2001 in Groningen and lives in the village of Doezum, in the province of Groningen. Since childhood, Daniëlle's life has been dominated by music. Daniëlle grew up with Dutch music and her dream was to be on stage. From the age of 7, Daniëlle participated annually in playback shows in the neighborhood. Singing on stage was out of the question. When Daniëlle sang a song at a birthday party, she knew she wanted to continue with this.
In 2019, Daniëlle released her first single called "Everything I Want. That is the title of her debut single. Daniëlle's goal was to release an upbeat and summery song, with which she wanted to build her own identity and genre. It is a recognizable song which is easy to sing along with. Daniëlle performed at parties and celebrations and wanted to continue this with her own single.
Daniëlle took the time last year to develop herself during performances and to orientate herself in different music genres and studios. Daniëlle says she finds it important to have a team behind her. ''A lot of producers make good music, but I need to have a good feeling with the team, that we are working on something together and that we feel that the song is going to bring me a lot,'' Daniëlle reveals.
In 2025, Daniëlle first started a collaboration with Edwin van Hoevelaak and this is where the song "Wie 't kleine niet eert" came out. "Edwin is well known in the business and I am extremely proud that Edwin wanted to make time for me". The collaboration felt right away, says Daniëlle. This single has brought me many beautiful stages''. ''For example, I got to perform three times at the Mega Pirate Fest and my single was played on national radio stations''. ''I received very good reactions about my last single'' However, the song is still regularly played on the radio.
Partly because of these positive impacts of the song, the collaboration with Edwin van Hoevelaak has continued with the single to be released in February 2026. Daniëlle discussed the plan to re-release Judith's 2008 single 'More'but completely in Daniëlle's style. Coincidentally, Edwin also wrote and produced this song at the time, which made this recap so fitting again. Compared to the original version, some changes have been made on a musical level so that it fits better with these times. Danielle herself feels that this style suits her very well. As a little girl of 7 years old, Daniëlle already liked the original song by Judith, and now she has been able to give it her own twist.
The single 'More of You' will be released on February 27, 2026 on all streaming portals. In addition, the music video can be seen on Youtube and all of Daniëlle's socials.
