I am a young singer. My reportage consists of my own songs supplemented with modern recognizable Dutch songs. My cover documentary consists of a.o.:
Tamara Tol, Monique Smit, Sieneke, Senna, Dora Pater, But also covers of Henk Dissel, John de Bever, Stef Ekkel, John West, Jeroen van Zelst and Andre Hazes.
So a versatile singers who actually is at home in all markets.

Biography
Daniëlle Wijkstra was born on August 12, 2001 in Groningen and lives in the Drenthe village of Peize. From an early age, Daniëlle's life has been dominated by music. Her dream was to be on stage and from the age of 7 she participated annually in playback shows in the neighborhood. Singing on stage was out of the question. When Daniëlle sang a song at a birthday party, she knew she wanted to continue with this.
In 2019, Daniëlle got in touch with producer/lyricist Martin Sterken. "Everything I Want. That is the title of her debut single. Daniëlle's goal was to release an upbeat and summery song, with which she wanted to build her own identity and genre. It is a recognizable song which is easy to sing along with. Daniëlle performed at parties and celebrations and wanted to continue this with her new single.
After her debut single, Daniëlle had a taste for it and decided to record her second single in 2020. With her debut single she had given producer and lyricist Martin Sterken a completely free hand, but with her second single she wanted more say in both the music and lyrics. The good cooperation resulted in a smooth and summery new song titled 'Als jij nog niet kunnen kiezen'. ''I wanted to record a smooth song, where people can think: this is a song that really suits Daniëlle''. I also found it important to be fully behind the lyrics of the song''. Daniëlle was very proud of the result and during performances she wanted to convey that feeling as much as possible.
Peize-based singer Daniëlle Wijkstra came out with her 3rd single already in 2021 after her debut in 2019. How this song "I surrender" came about she tells herself. ''I found despite the corona period, that it was time again for something new. My previous single was now a year ago and I felt like coming up with something new again. In consultation with Martin Sterken I chose something completely different. I was now 20 years old and it was really time for something new. With "I surrender" I wanted to show a mature side of myself. The genre is modern EDM/schlager and the song has a nice beat''.
Meanwhile, the corona period is almost over. Daniëlle is very happy to say that the performances are going well and that she enjoys being on stage again.
Daniëlle's performances consist mainly of pleasant Dutch music, which is suitable for various occasions. There may also be a few recognizable English songs.
