Richard Blokpoel, better known as DJ Rick Romijn, has been a well-known voice on Dutch radio for years. You may know him as sidekick of Evers Staat Op and now of De 538 Ochtendshow. With his experience, humor and love for music he makes every party a real experience.

DJ Rick Romijn, born Richard Blokpoel in The Hague, has been a well-known voice on Dutch radio for years. He started as a sidekick on the radio show Evers Staat Op on 3FM in the late 1990s and then moved to Radio 538 with the entire crew. There he worked on the popular morning show for 18 years, putting together the music and voicing commercials. Now he can be heard again on Radio 538 in De 538 Ochtendshow, together with Tim Klijn and Niels van Baarlen.

Rick has a lot of experience in music, radio and entertainment. He was a music composer, voice-over for major brands such as MediaMarkt and even appeared as a bartender in a TV talk show. His voice is familiar to many people and his sense of humor and timing make him loved by young and old alike. He now uses all that experience in his DJ act.
