Powerslam is an interactive and spectacular theatrical performance full of action, humor and riveting drama - the ultimate introduction to the world of American show wrestling, straight from the Netherlands. During this 60- to 90-minute show, the audience is drawn into a whirlwind story full of rivalry, spectacle and unexpected twists. In the ring the action erupts, but also outside the ring everything happens: the audience plays an active role, encourages, cheers, and learns along the way about the rich history and cultural impact of show wrestling. This unique blend of sports entertainment and theater is not only a visual spectacle, but also surprisingly educational and accessible to young and old alike.
Powerslam was developed by Live Action Wrestling, a
Dutch company that has been operating since 2023 and consists of a team of experienced performers, athletes and storytellers. Together they bring more than 20 years of experience in live entertainment, performance and show wrestling to the stage. With high-profile shows at festivals, in pop venues and theaters, this collective knows better than anyone how to get an audience on the edge of their seats.

During Zotte Zondag in District Deurne, the audience was treated to an unforgettable live action wrestling show that sent adrenaline racing through everyone's body. From young to old - everyone was swept up in the rousing atmosphere around the ring. From the very first bell ring, the atmosphere was right on. Organized sound effects brought the fights to life, while an enthusiastic ring announcer continuously whipped up the crowd. Between matches, children were even invited to take pictures with the wrestlers - a fun, approachable way to make the magic of the show even more personal. The wrestlers brought not only physical strength and spectacular stunts, but also a hefty dose of entertainment. The flamboyant outfits, the theatrical interplay between heroes and villains, and the impressive acrobatics made sure to leave you short of eyes. Each fight was full of suspense, humor and unexpected twists, making the whole experience accessible and engaging even for those who are not seasoned wrestling fans. What made the experience extra special was how close the audience was to the action. The energy of the crowd - full of cheers, applause and enthusiastic children with open mouths - lifted the atmosphere to another level. The organization was in the hands of the wrestling collective, which, with professional wrestlers and a mobile ring installation, took care of everything to perfection.
