Alisa Opari Luzi (vocals) and Julia Rosenhart (piano & vocals) met while teaching creative workshops at a high school. Their first joint performance took place on Valentine's Day in Alkmaar - an evening full of magic that became the beginning of Alia-Blu. Since then they have enjoyed performing a mix of jazzy vibes and timeless classics, with songs by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and Billie Holiday, among others.
What sets them apart is their unique interplay: Alisa's voice, influenced by Albanian music, and Julia's 70s singer-songwriter style together form a warm, surprising combination.
