John de Winter is a puppeteer at heart. With colorful puppets and short arcs of tension, the stories are suitable for young and old. Contemporary characters pepper the performances with the necessary humor and pointed dialogues. With the puppet show he plays 2 x 30 minutes or 4 x 30 minutes a day. The puppet show is suitable for indoor and outdoor use at: festivals, parties, fairs, fairs, etc.

For decades John has played under Theater de Winter in theaters, theaters and schools throughout NL and Flanders. In the summer he performs puppet shows for the shopping public in the center of Rotterdam. There he is a popular player with his main character Basje. Suitable for children and adults.
He plays indoors but also outdoors in dry weather. He received great reviews in the national press. He also worked for TV in : Koekeloere and Benjamin Ben. He is also a voice actor and voices cartoons. For years he was the voice of Piglet in Winnie the Pooh.

Amazing performance

We got to know Puppet Theatre John de Winter for the first time during the Brandersfeesten Schiedam 2024. He performed two shows on both Saturday and Sunday at our children's area. Despite the rainy weather, his shows immediately attracted both young and old – and many came back for the next performance. In our eyes, a great success, mainly thanks to John's enthusiasm and the quality of his shows. There was humor for both children and adults, and at times it was even a little exciting. Because the collaboration went very smoothly and the shows were well received by the audience, we’ve invited John back for King’s Day 2025 and the Brandersfeesten 2025.
