Hallo, mijn naam is Damiën van Elburg. Sinds een paar jaar zit ik in de muziek business en heb ik een EP, album en enkele singles uitgebracht. Deze inspiratie is opgewekt door de muziek van Johnny Cash. De shows die ik normaal speel hebben allerlei americana nummers in de setlist. Bijvoorbeeld Johnny Cash, maar ook werk van John Prine, Zach Bryan, Bob Dylan en natuurlijk eigen materiaal.
Dit nieuwe project is een set met alléén Cash nummers. Denk aan de hits "I Walk The Line", "Ring of Fire" of "Folsom Prison Blues". Maar ook de ballades zoals "Give My Love To Rose" of juist de gospel kant op met "I Was There When It Happened". Een muzikale reis uit een
bijna 50 decennia lange carrière.

Besides playing very well you can also sing incredibly well and your voice is very similar to Johnny Cash. Damien played at the Route 50 Rootsnight Even without his fantastic band, he managed to captivate 150 people. The big applause afterwards was fully deserved. His encore 'scars in your heart' caused goosebumps. Before and after the performance he mingles with the audience and proves to be a pleasant guest at your party. Later in the evening he took care of the vocals and guitar during Folsom Prison Blues when he played along with Chieff Bellstar. His bass voice made you think of the real Cash. Damien is making good progress and is a mature act despite his young age.
