Duo Gewoon is a musical duo consisting of brothers Rimmert and Michiel van Kalsbeek, supported by sound man Willem Baas. Their goal is to give the elderly a pleasant afternoon or evening with a musical note. They perform a mix of Dutch and English music, accompanying themselves on guitar. Among other well-known covers by Pat Boone, Cliff Richard, The Everly Brothers, Rob de Nijs. They also sing songs they wrote themselves. Duo Gewoon simply stands for ordinary, cozy music.
Duo Gewoon can be booked for entertaining afternoons and/or evenings in nursing homes, nursing homes and other residential settings. But they are certainly also available for smaller receptions, garden parties and living room performances.
The musical program lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
For a performance they charge € 225,00, excluding VAT and excluding travel expenses.
There are possibilities to make custom arrangements about the program and associated costs .
