Iris werd geboren in Rotterdam op 6 februari 1992. Muziek speelt van jongs af aan al een grote rol in haar leven. Als kind volgde Iris o.a. zang, dans en toneel lessen. Later studeerde zij in Leiden af als ‘artiest’ De jaren erna trad Iris regelmatig op en bouwde zo aan haar podiumervaring.
Begin 2013 was de tijd rijp om aan het SBS6 programma ‘The Next Pop Talent’ mee te doen, ze behaalde de live shows en zelfs de halve finale. In de zomer van ditzelfde jaar tekende Iris een contract bij CTM Music & Management, daar brachten ze eind september haar eerste single uit ‘Cups Hard to get’ De bijbehorende clip is inmiddels meer dan 350k keer bekeken op
YouTube en mogen we dus spreken van een ware hit! In 2017/18 deed Iris mee aan het RTL 4 programma `The voice of Holland` en behaalde zij de Battles. Momenteel Treed Iris op door heel het land.
