V-Raven, “a rock drummer on a new singer-songwriter path as a solo artist!” with his own intense and powerful Indie-rock songs with a story and message. With his unique sound he takes you on a musical emotional journey on guitar and with his beautiful voice. With a repertoire of more than 2.5 hours from 2 released albums (Beflections 2022, Run Dive Train Dream 2024) he can offer a variety of types of 'travels'.

V-Raven, “a rock drummer on a new path!”. After graduating from the Hans Cleuver Drum School of Art (The Hague) and a long drumming career in Belgian pop and Indie-rock acts with highlights as support act for The Rasmus in their Dead Letters tour (KUNDA, 2004) and a main act UK tour with The One Jaded, I eventually found my way to Rotterdam through love. There I created 17 released LP albums together with Paulie Danger (USA) in avant-garde rock act SHARK INFERNO. After almost a decade together we decided to end our musical partnership. I ended up musically alone, but through the support and trust of my lover and friends I found my strength and need to create my own story and sound. I started writing, composing and performing as a singer-songwriter solo artist (2022). It turned out to be powerful and has now resulted in 2 released albums; Beflections (2022) and RUN DIVE TRAIN DREAM (2024).
My songs are a protest voice where I question our society and its humanitarian grounds. I often relate this in a historical sense to the present day. I also get motivation from my personal life and that of loved ones, which has difficult and blissful moments. Of course I do not ignore songs about love and dreams about a better future for all of us. In this way I balance the musical experience that I create. Before I started drumming I played guitar in rock and metal acts. My love for (Indie) rock music is a great influence on my songs.
This makes my songs personal and gives them a unique sound. I complete my music by playing and singing everything you hear on my albums myself. On stage, however, I let a different feeling be heard in an attempt to serve my audience with a new intensity, so that they can feel it in their heart and go on an emotional musical journey. This gives me a great feeling and defines who I am. So, let me take you!
