Stylish, swinging and full of spontaneity: this is the best way to describe the music of the Riverside Trio. Famous classics from the 'Great American Songbook' are alternated by these three gentlemen with atmospheric Bossa Nova's and energetic pieces from the 'Gypsy Jazz' repertoire.
After a performance on a beautifully situated terrace by the river Vecht, saxophonist Mischa and guitarist Jens decided to start a permanent collaboration. They have been playing together since they both studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, over twenty years ago now. Supplemented by the driving and creative playing of bassist Vincent, the Riverside Trio was born. The line-up of saxophone, guitar and bass can be expanded with a singer, a pianist or a drummer.
Whether it's a reception, dinner, or drinks: the music of the Riverside Trio will be a beautiful and atmospheric addition to your gathering!
