Rafael (Brazil), Joy (Taiwan) and Kiki (Netherlands) share a deep passion for Brazilian music. From samba to bossa nova, from choro to forró - their playing is rhythmic, refined and full of inspiration. Kiki is the singer of the trio and sings in Portuguese, which she learned during her time in Portugal. Joy and Rafael switch effortlessly between guitar, cavaquinho and pandeiro, making for a rich and dynamic sound.
The trio is flexible as a duo or full ensemble, seamlessly adapting the atmosphere to the occasion. Whether it's an intimate garden party, drinks after a classical concert, a summer festival or a wedding, this group brings just the right tone. They can play subdued and atmospheric, but also provide danceable
energy with swinging sambas, for example. Always warm, always musical, always with love for the Brazilian tradition.
