MAUD is a Dutch pop artist who gives life song a modern twist. With her honest and direct style, somewhere between the electronic, meaningful songs of Froukje and the grand, compelling of Hazes, she manages to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation.

Her music centers on the theme of "growing up," using her straightforward lyrics to make you forget the daily grind for a moment.
This is strongly reflected in her diptych Half Full, Half Empty, which showcases two perspectives on life. Half Full views the world with optimism, while Half Empty embraces melancholy. Each song hangs from a coat rack, so to speak, but wears a different jacket, giving each track a unique atmosphere and meaning.
During her live shows, MAUD takes you on a rollercoaster. Her music balances between danceable and serious, with a touch of cynicism and a strong focus on the lyrics. Together with her five-member band, the young artist from Gouda brings a breath of fresh air to Dutch pop music, where she knows how to translate life and everyday experiences into catchy and recognizable songs.
In addition, MAUD can currently be seen in the new TV program Talent Unplugged, where she also brings the life song back to life here in her own way.
