My name is Yvonne, raised in Twente and now living in Nijmegen. Music has always been an important part of my life. Music was constantly playing in the house: if there was no CD with classical music playing, my father would improvise jazz on the grand piano, or my mother would sing children's songs to us. Just as Agnetha (ABBA) sings in Thank You for the Music, "Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk, she says I began to sing long before I could talk," the same applied to me. My parents told me I was singing myself to sleep.

Music has the power to connect, amaze, move, remind and comfort people. It fills me with energy and gives me satisfaction to raise my voice to touch audiences in special moments.

I like to come and sing to make the occasion more intimate. This could be a wedding, funeral, Christmas party, reception, graduation or other event. Together we agree on what music is appropriate and desired. This can be background music, but can also be in a concert format. Please feel free to contact me.
