Guitarist/pianist/vocalist FRANK BLUEKA mixes the upbeat atmosphere of Irish tradionals with atmospheric covers of MTV unplugged Rock ballads. Through The Dubliners, The Pogues and U2, Frank travels smoothly to Nirvana, Radiohead and Pearl Jam before going on to coffee with Van Morrison, John Mayer and Robbie Williams. Lovely laid-back sound. Pleasant genre.

Frank Blueka plays semi-acoustic and his specialty is reducing rock songs to their essence. A rock poet, rock troubadour, relaxed and effective. In theaters embedded in a visual story. At festivals and pubs with a recognizable sound. Surprising, exciting and always that warm voice that makes the audience stand still and curious... Soulful, with influences from rock, blues, Irish influences and global folk.

Besides the theater, Frank has been playing on various other stages for years. You name it. He likes to be surprised by the situation. Always looking for the connecting effect that music gives. Honest, straightforward, rock influenced, but definitely goofy in between. Besides Irish traditionals, he mixes rock ballads and modern hits with classics from the top 2000. Frank Blueka amplifies his music nicely wide. The sound level is relaxed. Although the sound level can always be turned up if the situation calls for it. His dance break has become a real dance-DJ set (feel free to ask about this extra option). In smaller groups a round completely unplugged (Irish styled) is perfectly possible.

Frank Blueka also writes and edits his own songs.... On YouTube the total number of views goes towards the million.... On Spotify, Frank has a growing club of loyal followers. Nice was his invitation to visit Giel Beelen on Radio2 in Hilversum. Frank was asked to play 2 songs live as a pre-shot for his then upcoming album Paris Midnight (2023).
