The fattest boogie blues rock & roll band in the low countries celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025
Called the "ZZ Top of the low countries" by Julian Sas, Bacon Fat invariably provides an unforgettable (blues) rock night for young and old.

Bacon Fat is one of the last truly fat bands of the low countries. A breed that seems threatened with extinction in these times.
This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary and come to delight your ears with new music.

The band started in Sint-Truiden in 2000 and evolved into a power rock 'n roll trio with a distinctive style and sound.
We mix all kinds of musical genres including reggae, stoner, fusion, psychedelics and even hard rock. Yet our typical fat blues rock sound always remains recognizable. Important influences are ZZ Top, Motorhead, Hendrix, Masters of Reality, Big Sugar and Andre Williams.
Until now we released 5 full albums and played over 400 shows in the Benelux, France and Germany.
