Schminkkoppies, the place to go for beautiful belly paintings (bellypaints) to create a lasting memory of your pregnancy. Whether you are pregnant, hosting a baby shower or looking for an original gift, a belly paint is the perfect choice.
What is a bellypaint? A bellypaint is an artistic painting on your pregnant belly. From the 30th week of your pregnancy, when your belly is nicely rounded, we can get to work. The possibilities are endless: from self-created designs to collages with flowers, the name of your baby, details from the baby's room or even the birth card. Together we will discuss your wishes and ideas, and I will create a unique design especially for you. After all, it is much nicer to have your own design than to choose one from the internet.
Applying a belly paint takes an average of 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the design. For a smooth session, we recommend that you wear comfortable
clothing that can be easily slipped up and down. To avoid stretch marks from pinching clothing, we recommend that you not wear tight clothing in that area until 2 hours before the tummy tuck. We also recommend that you do not apply any cream, oil or other products to your belly on the day of the belly paint, as this can affect the adhesion of the face paint and make the belly paint less beautiful.
After applying the belly paint, I will take a number of photos of the end result. You can use these photos for the birth card, in a scrapbook or even for decoration in the baby's room. Keep in mind that I am not a professional photographer. For the photos, it is often best to wear plain black or plain white clothing, as this creates a calm image. This also applies to your partner if they also want to be in the photo. It is helpful to bring an extra shirt for him.
