Unique due to the fact that father and daughter form a duo as lead vocalists combined with top musicians . Own repertoire (but can be adapted if necessary)

Zayna Esuo grew up among London musicians and it soon became clear that she would follow in her father's footsteps. After high school at KHB in Brussels, she took vocal internships at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and studied at KASK Ghent.

Every year she performs at the jazz club "Bistro l'Arabe "in Marrakech, accompanied by the Black Experience Jazz Band. She started working on her own songs and got the idea to revive her father's former band, D-Urbanites.

The original band was formed in 2008 from front man and lead vocalist Malik Esuo (The Brix Academy, WKD, Tales of Hypeness) and jazz bassist Stijn Deldaele (Blunt, Phoenix jazz project, Precious Wilson). Together with keyboardist Jonas Desmet (Madame Blavatsky, Olga Jane, Keith Canvas), drummer Sam Gysel (Arno,Arsenal, Fugu Mango), guitarist Siemen De Man (Dolce far disco) and Sebastian Pèna Ortiz (El Tattoo del Tigré Skala, Contrabando) they set many a stage ablaze with their unapologetic acid-jazz vibes!
