A true jazz quartet for lazy Sunday afternoons, housewarmings, concerts, and festivals. We play great jazz in the tradition of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and Dexter Gordon, as well as more contemporary jazz by artists such as John Scofield, Bob Reynolds, and Kenny Garrett. A cozy afternoon with wonderful music. In the fall of 2026, we’ll launch a project dedicated to saxophonist Sonny Rollins, who passed away in May 2026. We’ll take you on a musical journey through his life.

"It's always time for jazz!"
This is the motto of the North Holland Jazz Quartet, founded by double bassist Lenny Fleer—a delightful jazz quartet perfect for small concerts, festivals, and jazzy afternoons on lazy Sundays. All the musicians are trained in jazz and have extensive experience. Playing beautiful jazz tunes and improvising on them is the musicians’ passion. The North Holland Jazz Quartet’s current repertoire includes a wide range of time-tested jazz standards and more modern melodic pieces. Whether it’s an intimate jazz evening, an atmospheric dinner, a large event, or a festival, this quartet always sets the right mood.
