Laranja is a four-piece Dutch Latin band that sounds like a full-fledged orchestra. Their music is an exciting mix of Brazilian and Cuban rhythms, supplemented with well-known hits. Laranja knows how to take any party to a higher level, whether it is a chic event or a summer beach party.

The band emerged from the trio Cafe Chantant, whose members, in addition to their Dutch-language work, also love Latin American music. Cafe Chantant is known for their rich musical arrangements in which different instruments come together, such as flute, recorder, accordion, keyboard and 3-part singing. With Laranja the drums and percussion of Latin specialist Michiel Westerhuis are added.

This creates a unique sound that takes the audience on a musical journey through Latin America. In addition, the beautiful vocal harmonies take the whole thing to a higher level. The combination of these elements makes Laranja a great act on various occasions.
