My name is Yvonne, raised in Twente and now living in Nijmegen. Music has always been an important part of my life. Music was constantly playing in the house: if there was no CD of classical music playing, my father would improvise jazz on the grand piano, or my mother would sing children's songs to us. Just as Agnetha (ABBA) sings in Thank You for the Music, "Mother says I was a dancer before I could walk, she says I began to sing long before I could talk," the same applied to me. My parents told me I was singing myself to sleep.

Music has the power to connect people, amaze, move, remind and comfort. It fills me with energy and gives me satisfaction to raise my voice to touch audiences in special moments.

I would like to come along with piano accompaniment during the holiday months of December and January to sing a 30-60 minute set of Christmas songs. I will provide the instruments, amplification and, if necessary, a microphone. The cost is €250, excluding VAT and travel expenses.
