The most swinging and positive-voiced band "of the Netherlands. Based on the cheerful sounds from New Orleans and with the style flexibility of the musicians, a party is also guaranteed.
Dixieland is not for nothing 'music you can't resist'.

Down Town Dixie was founded back in 1990 at the Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht. Since then, the band has traveled halfway around the world to share its happy notes: all the Antillean islands, Suriname, the Middle East, Thailand, the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Austria. Just for fun, by the way.

Down Town Dixie can be scouted all year round at all kinds of parties & celebrations and music festivals and in pubs and halls. Always fun! The repertoire is dixieland with well-known melodies and easy listening songs. An evening will sometimes end in a Dutch polonaise.... but only on request ;)
