Rein Mercha brings his singing to any event with his versatile repertoire of popular Dutch songs and recognizable covers. Whether it's a wedding or a corporate party, he knows how to get the audience applauding and entertained by the music.

Rein Mercha, also known as "Rein de Parel," is a leading interpreter of sintime music in the Netherlands. He is the only artist who has released a CD of songs in sinti, but in addition he also sings in Dutch and English. In 2004, his life was followed in the documentary "I Soeni (the Dream)," made by Carin Goeijers, in which he was filmed for two years.

In 2013, Rein participated in the SBS6 program "Bloed, zweet & tranen," which was looking for the new folk singer of the Netherlands. Rein won the first audition and advanced to the next rounds, where he eventually reached the finals and finished second. His talent and unique musical style have earned him a special place in the Dutch music world.
