The preparation with Wilfred went very smoothly. Wilfred was our chief guest, together with Roxane Knetemann, Gert Jakobs and Erik Hulzebosch at one of the events of the networking club "Business peloton " networking & cycling in the Town Hall of Emmen. Wilfred had the atmosphere from minute one. Was in tight and engaging discussions with the guests at the table and provoked nice anecdotes from Roxane, Erik and Gert. Conversations took special turns with many laughs in the room. Topical issues, jokes and the experiences of the guests were brilliantly captured by Wilfred and enjoyed by the audience. Recently we had a fantastic gala in Huis ter Duin where Wilfred Genee was our chairman of the day. Under his inspiring and very professional leadership this evening became a big party. He had fantastically prepared himself in the history of our club and very expertly conducted a number of interviews with some of our (honorary) members. It seemed as if he himself had been a member of our club for 25 years. From the beginning to the end there was a great atmosphere in the hall. At the end Wilfred himself also sang a song by Hazes, which showed that he himself was enjoying himself enormously.
