Buddhi and friends is a band founded in 2000 by singer Buddhi Adhikari in Zwolle, the Netherlands, and has since followed an impressive musical path. Throughout the years they have known different line-ups and performed in bars and restaurants, on stages and at festivals, where their energy and authentic sound have only grown stronger. This unique energy attracts dozens of (guest) musicians who regularly contribute to this musical adventure. During the corona period and the period immediately afterwards, things were quiet around Buddhi and friends for a while, but since the end of 2023 they are back on stage full of energy as a compact and solid four-man formation. What characterizes the band is the recognizable groove and energy with which they effortlessly move through genres such as blues, funk, soul and a touch of reggae, with Buddhi's unique voice as the vocal centerpiece.
With Buddhi and friends, you can feel and hear the deep-rooted influences of the music, making for an authentic and immersive experience. They invite everyone to become part of their musical journey again.
