Wonderful waders for Halloween in dias de los muertos theme!

As dusk falls and the sky turns red, large, majestic figures loom, moving slowly through the crowd. Their faces are painted with colorful skulls, their eyes black-rimmed and their smiles mysterious, as if they have come from the afterlife to celebrate life. These giant characters symbolize the ancestors who return every year during Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) to dance with the living and celebrate life.
Dressed in lavish, brightly colored clothing with garlands of flowers and scarves fluttering in the wind, the stilt walkers move gracefully through the space. Their tall stature symbolizes the connection between the present and the past, between heaven and earth.
To traditional Mexican music they dance, pausing from time to time, dwelling on the dead. But soon they dance on to celebrate life and the dead.
