Children's Book Week 2024: October 2 to 13.
I think it is very important for children to read. Therefore, every year I create a NEW performance to go with the theme. This year: "Lekker Eigenwijs" for children aged 4 to 12!
Talent show in Monotonia
This performance is about the TALENTS of children. The gray world Monotonia has lost all its color. Thanks to children's talents, we collect new colors. With all those colors, we can restart the rainbow and the world gets color again.
Talents must be discovered, tried out, practiced. So you have to be "Pretty Cocky" for that, even if others think you're weird! In the end it turns out that we need each other because with all those talents together the world becomes much more beautiful!

Magician Jan is a four-time Champion Children's Magician and specializes in performances for Schools and Libraries.

came to play his new show in three different levels. The duration of the performance could be adapted to the development level of our pupils. Beforehand there was good contact about the level of the students. That was very nice. The children enjoyed the performance. The care groups participated in the performance for the lowest level.
From my colleagues I heard only positive reactions afterwards. The story was very nice, but it was not a problem if a student could not follow the story. Also, understanding language was not a prerequisite to participate. There was something to see all the time and so it remained attractive to the students until the end. There was a card for all the children to take home. Definitely worth repeating."

On behalf of Facet I was allowed to hire Magician Jan to enrich our offer of the Children's Book Week. On request, he has slightly adapted his performance 'Code red for the Earth' so that the picture book offered by us was incorporated. Magician Jan knows how to entertain and surprise the children very well. An excellent addition to our children's program where we had to adjust the script until the last moment. Jan was very flexible, helpful and thoughtful. This resulted in a nice total program to which Jan made a great contribution. Jan has been our regular presenter and entertainer for years during the municipal reading competition in Dinkelland. Each time he manages to conjure up new tricks from his top hat for the audience present at that time and to steer the competition in the right direction in a professional manner.
