Biography:
Roel Timmers, songwriter and creator of the poetry collection series 'ZOmaargedichtjes', is known as the singer of The Buttshakers Show and his theater work with TimsMusic. He is also Village Poet of the Municipality of Oirschot.
Reinout Brocken has worked with the likes of Johnny Logan, Xander de Buisonjé and played with concert pianist Ivo Janssen. In the performance he plays the bass guitar and cello.

Seen on Saturday, Jan. 20 in 'The heart of Spoordonk' the performance ' Inspiration is on the street'. What could be better than to spend a cold Saturday evening with beautiful music, special lyrics and wonderful songs. Roel Timmers and Reinout Brocken welcomed their audience in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Because of the way Roel and Reinout played to the audience, as a spectator you got the feeling you were sitting in a living room listening to a private performance. It was an evening with songs written by Roel and framed by the warm sounds of cello and guitar. Songs taken from life and therefore recognizable; about a neighbor and her dog, childhood and special people who do great things with a small gesture. Accompanied by poems Roel read from his own collection. It was a wonderful evening after which I cycled home through the cold with a warm feeling. I went to the performance of Tennessee to Tivoli: a wonderful trip to vrûger. Using stories from Roel's childhood, you are back in time yourself for a moment. The music and polyphonic harmonies are a real pleasure to listen to and the poems and anecdotes keep up the pace and humor! I am looking forward to the new theater show in February! (via Google)
