Social media can spread anything fast these days, so too in picturesque Brandwijk. In fact, Nothing on the Scythe was booked before they even existed. A video of Maarten, Sjakko and Arjan on accordion arrived at the local Orange Society, and so they were booked solid for the 2016 celebration week...

Now 8 years later and 200 gigs later we can say that it is a hobby that got out of hand. The band has 6 people and we have a regular team around us with which we can build a professional party in Nothing to the Scythe style!

Niks aan de scythe takes you to the liveliest polder party in the Netherlands! Every tent, pub, street, festival or garden shed will be transformed by us into one big family of partying people! The tap doesn't have to be closed anymore, the suspenders can be put on and the extra pegs can be put in the ground because the roof is coming off!

We put on a show with something for everyone. From Dutch sing-along to reckless rock 'n roll we provide a feast of recognition! We sometimes say; We are the only band with the unique combination of "Forgotten Dutch pop and farmers rock!".

Because one thing is for sure; the more you drink, the better we sound!

We can play on a plug-in basis or we can bring a professional sound set. Prices vary. Everything is possible! Currently we have 5 songs on spotify.
