Named after legendary funk artist Maceo Parker and with a last name that rings a bell with experienced clubgoers - his father was, in fact, the resident DJ at Amsterdam's iconic Soulkitchen - it's no surprise that Maceo has rhythm in his blood. He connects genres from hip-hop to minimal house and flawlessly senses what the crowd needs to keep the energy high.
Still in his mid-twenties, with a background in applied psychology as well as teaching at the renowned DJ school Amsterdam, a promising musical journey lies ahead for Maceo Novica.
