Not the usual covers, but a delicious mix of smooth soul and groove jazz songs. Sung by two versatile singers with a top accompanying band. The perfect musical interpretation of a reception, dinner or party where you can dance but also talk. Also very suitable as a live band for events, music cafe. or terrace.
Besides our act as a funky party band, we can also be booked as a jazzy lounge band. We love to explore the musical boundaries of neo-soul, groove and acid jazz with covers of Jamiroquai, Incognito, Joss Stone, Erykah Badu and Amy Winehouse, with surprising medleys and mashups ala Pomplamoose or a well-known pop song in a slightly different (jazz) jacket.
You may dance, but you don't have to. Or just listen and enjoy our two singers and accompanying musicians. And yes, we can also play softly so you can still talk.
Light and sound up to about 50 people is free and included in the price. For private persons we can give a discount on the price, so feel free

Plus points: Pleasant contact with band manager prior to performance. Particularly good contact and good thinking about acoustics. Good atmosphere during performance. Nice hits, exactly as agreed upon. Build up of songs which provided a lot of energy at the end. Thanks to the music we had a very successful party! Minus point: during the performance there was confusion about the duration of the performance, because someone in the audience made a remark about it. After inquiry, this is completely correct

Despite the weather and soccer, the band made it a swinging party. They are flexible, both beforehand and during the performance. They sense what the atmosphere is and respond well to this to keep it going. They know how to get the feet of the floor with their crazy songs. What a great evening we had with the band. Very nice repertoire, great atmosphere and very friendly band members.
