Lamme Frans, the stage name of Rob Janssen, born on September 16, 1988, in Beneden-Leeuwen, is a Dutch singer, DJ, and host. He rose to fame with his carnival act, in which he performs festive and humorous songs. Some of his well-known hits include “Alles Moet Op,” “Wakker met een Biertje,” and “Handjes Handjes Bloemetjesgordijn.”

Since 2013, Janssen has released an annual Carnival single under the pseudonym Lamme Frans. On two occasions, a Carnival song was created during his radio show on 3FM, which he then released as Rob van de radio. In 2020, Janssen, together with the Limburg duo Sjpringlaevend, created the song “Doorgaon,” a song of consolation for Carnival, which could not take place in its entirety due to the COVID-19 crisis. Lamme Frans was one of the artists in the group NAR (Niet Altijd Rozengeur) that released this song. On November 11, 2021, he released the single “Ik klap erop” as Partij voor de Vrijdag, alongside his radio partner Wijnand Speelman and Veul Gère. The proceeds went to 3FM Serious Request.
