Making a room full of children happy and captivated - that is what it is all about. In the Hocus Rookus show I don't stand in front of the children, but I do it WITH them: kids on stage, screaming in amazement, and parents and guardians laughing just as hard. Cheerful, interactive and from beginning to end touching, with strong Magic.

I am Hocus Rookus, children's magician with over 10 years of experience and an upbeat, clownish style. My interactive children's show is not a show children sit obediently watching - it's an adventure they are in the middle of. Children get on stage, help with magic and experience together that one "huh, how's that possible?" moment. And because I also perform magic for adults, I simultaneously amaze parents, teachers and supervisors. Everyone in the room is on the edge of their seat.
Before I made this my profession, I studied psychology (MSc). You can tell: I know exactly how to get a group of four to twelve years old on board, when it is time for a joke and when for surprise. This keeps their attention from beginning to end - even with a large, busy group. And the communication beforehand? Fast, clear and thoughtful, so you don't have to worry about anything.
The result is invariably the same: smiling faces, children who feel special, and adults who for a moment are children again.
