Making a room full of children happy and captivated - that is what it is all about. In the Hocus Rookus show I don't stand in front of the children, but I do it WITH them: kids on stage, screaming in amazement, and parents and guardians laughing just as hard. Cheerful, interactive and from beginning to end touching, with strong Magic.

I’m Hocus Rookus, a children’s magician with over 10 years of experience and a cheerful, clown-like style. My interactive children’s show isn’t one where kids just sit quietly and watch—it’s an adventure they’re right in the middle of. Kids get to come up on stage, help perform magic tricks, and experience that “Huh, how is that even possible?!” moment together. And since I also perform magic for adults, I amble parents, teachers, and chaperones at the same time. Everyone in the audience is on the edge of their seat.
Before I made this my profession, I studied psychology (MSc). You can tell: I have a knack for engaging a group of four- to twelve-year-olds, knowing when it’s time for a joke and when it’s time for wonder. As a result, their attention stays focused from start to finish—even with a large, boisterous group. And what about communication beforehand? Quick, clear, and collaborative, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
The result is always the same: smiling faces, children who feel special for a moment, and adults who get to be kids again, if just for a little while.

What kind of event?
The Hocus Rookus show is perfect for elementary schools, after-school programs, libraries (including a special program for Children’s Book Week), kids’ parties, family days, and festivals. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings, from a small group to a full audience.
What you get:

An interactive magic show where the kids themselves are the stars.
In addition, you can book the Balloon Game Show on top of that. I hand out about 10 balloons among all the kids, and they can win them by playing fun games. Who can imitate a superhero the best? How many times are you going to clean your room for this balloon? I hear 5 times, 10 times? 1,000 times! You win it! An extra 15 minutes of entertainment.

Depending on the size of the group, this can provide about 15 to 20 minutes of extra entertainment after the show—for just 200 extra. (Option 2 when booking this add-on)
