Iris's music is best described as English and Dutch-language Pop songs with influences from many different genres. She sings solo as well as with acoustic accompaniment on request.
Since childhood Iris has been involved with music and has completed several music exams. Eventually singing captured her heart and after several performances she wanted to expand into making her own singles. This is how her first track was born "Stronger Now. In 2022, Iris competed in talent shows. In doing so, she managed to achieve third place in the finals in the Voice of Westland and Winterstar Talent Show Tour. In 2022, Iris also started producing and released her first singles of her own, "I miss you," "Travel pioneer," "Don't be
shy" and "Bring me coffee. The song 'Travel pioneer' is typical of Iris, all about following your own path
The passion for making music has only grown stronger. She has released in February 2023, six covers, with different artists, performed live at different radio stations and sat at the table at the Talkshow (TV) of Omroep Castricum 'Couleur LoCALe'. The independence with which she works and the motivation she has for the profession are reflected in the tracks she releases and the speed at which she is moving up in the music world.
By 2024, she has performed at various events, radio/TV shows and festivals, there are commissions on the calendar every month and music has taken a prominent role in her life. She quit her job to sing full-time.
