The only and unique tribute to Benny Neyman with 6-piece Theater Band where all the hits are sung and played but also his greatest theater songs.

Koen De Smet was musical right-hand man of Neyman and his soulmate for many years. All hits were reworked anno 2024. Singing along is the message but also affection finds its place during the 1 x 60' (festival set) or 2 x 50' (in concert set).
All hits pass in review such as : "I don't know how, I'll have you, you don't have to be afraid of life, why am I still whispering your name, so are you, bachelor,....,
Koen is accompanied by the crème de la crème of top Belgian musicians. The hit "Benny," composed by Koen dominated all the charts in Belgium in 2023.
When the overture of the show starts, the audience knows what to expect. A 100% live show with only superlatives. The very best musicians and a permanent technical crew creating the very beautiful sound.
Take to that the improvisation and affection with the audience and you literally get a smile and a tear. What is certain is that the content builds toward the end to and climax that the roof goes off every time.

During the festival set (1 x 60' a 75'), Neyman's great successes are targeted where the sing-along content is raised to a high level.

The in concert formula ( 2 x 50min) also includes the beautiful listening songs such as "Zo ben jij", "De pijn verdwijnt vaak met de jaren",..., of course supplemented with the hits.
There is no price difference between both formulas (price includes artistic gage, orchestra and plug-in set, excluding sound and lickt) price is for NL. Different rates apply for Belgium.

Koen De Smet was born on 11/05/1976 in Ninove (Belgium) and studied music at various academies where he passed with distinction for trumpet and voice.
Later he studied trumpet and drama at the conservatories of Ghent and Antwerp.

After his studies he chose the lighter genre with a preference for theater. As trumpet player and/or orchestra leader he worked with Will Tura, Christoff, Koos Alberts, Koen Crucke, ...., among others, and collaborated in productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats and various TV productions.

Koen was Benny Neyman's orchestra leader and manager for 10 years, bringing him back on all the major stages in Belgium as well as the Netherlands.

He is currently the only artist who received official permission for this unique tribute and breathes new life into Neyman's musical legacy, which is enjoyed by young and old alike. This in a contemporary way that only Koen has the specific talent for, thanks to his many years of collaboration and friendship with Benny Neyman and his husband Hans Van Barneveld.
Koen composes songs for himself that will be released in 2024 and also writes music for others such as Goodshape, Bart Kaell, Christoff, ....,

This show is suitable for company parties, squares, theaters, tents, festivals, churches, private parties.

The transportation cost is only for the 1 van of technology.

The line-up with stage hands is only 30 minutes and thus can be completed in a line-up between 2 other acts.

You can not go more exclusive at this time in terms of Dutch tribute with an exceptional never seen atmosphere !!!!
