The duo Joanna & Tessa play Jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli (also known as Gypsy Jazz). They put their own spin on the music with their free interpretations and their own compositions. In addition to the Gypsy Jazz repertoire, they also play Swing songs from the 20s and 30s and some French chansons

The combination of violin, guitar and vocals makes them versatile for different occasions. They can give small concerts but can also be booked for atmospheric background music during a drink, reception or dinner.

The duo can be extended with double bass.

Joanna Gardner:
Joanna Gardner is a British violinist specializing in gypsy jazz, a style of music she studied in the Netherlands.
